The surrender of self involves letting go of our desires to be in control, and those desires of proving our worth to the world and those around us. The surrender of self goes beyond the surface and into the deeper areas of ourselves where God does some of his greatest work. When we surrender our self and our control, we allow God to forge his character in us, build our integrity, and find our sense identity in Him. People who surrender themselves to God are able to reflect His love and compassion to those around them.

As overcomers and victorious in the Power of the Cross through our Lord of lords and King of Kings it is highly important that we each bear our own cross as we daily submit and surrender all to Jesus Christ whom we belong to. It’s imperative that we surrender all to Him including the 3 things mentioned in this article.
