Hello everyone! I want to personally welcome you all to Living For Jesus. This week marks the year anniversary of this blog, and God has definitely shown me so much through that time. My name is Colton Jansen, and I am the writer/author of this website.

God placed this website in my hands a little over a year ago, as well as the desire to turn it into a blog thats purpose would be to create a place to encourage and edify the body of Christ. Throughout the year, I have simply been posting what God has placed upon my heart; whether it be the lyrics to a song with the chords to play it, or writing about the amazing love of Jesus Christ! This site has come much further than I ever imagined it could in a year, and it is solely by God’s grace.

On January 12th, Haiti was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that left the nation and its people devestated. Here at LivingforJesus we feel the need to help in any way we can.

We are first asking everyone to pray for Haiti. We cannot limit the power of prayer (James 5:16). Here are some specific things that need our prayer:

• God’s comfort for the people/families that have lost loved ones
• For the volunteers there that are giving their time to help
• For the whole people of Haiti, that they would be comforted in this time of loss
• That beauty would rise from the ashes
• That God would use this horrific thing that happened to bring the lost to Him (Romans 8:28)
• That the churches already established there would let God’s love shine through them
• And many many more
