Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6: 6.

Paul is breaking down that if you are godly and you pair that with contentment you will have great gain. This is like a simple math equation; if you pair the 2 together, great gain is the result.

This should be a huge a goal in our lives; to not only be godly, but also be content. Content in all areas of our life. Content doesn’t mean we cannot pursue something better, but that we are satisfied, at peace, and thankful with what we currently have.

I pray that we can all learn to be more content in our lives, starting today.

In God’s love and grace.
