God has called us to love one another. This is such an important part of our relationship with God that He says loving one another will be the mark of His disciples. One of the most significant ways we can to this is to pray for one another. The Following are just a few of the scriptures prompting us to love one another:
- John 13:34
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. - John 13:35
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - Romans 12:10
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. - Romans 13:8
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. - Galatians 5:13
You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature ; rather, serve one another in love. - Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. - Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. - 1 Peter 1:22
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. - 1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
As you can see, loving and caring for one another is so important to God! He loves us, and we are His hands and feet, so it is our job to show His love to one another.
So many of us are hurting. So many of us need love. So many of us need prayer; It is our job as a body of Christ to be there for each other, and to pray for one another. So my hope for this post is to create a place for us as a body, to help each other through prayer (James 5:16):

I really could use prayer. I have a nice Christian husband who I don’t see much because he works a lot, and I made the poor decision of getting emotionally involved with a coworker without meaning to at first. One thing led to another, and an affair occurred two different times. I feel terrible, and so does the other man. He went away for a while but came back, and we both have an emotional connection that I can’t describe. We have not met up since he got back because we both know where it would lead. I can’t say I do not have feelings for him though because I feel a strong bond with him. My husband says he wants to be a good leader and works hard but I already opened the door to something I shouldn’t have. It’s easy to say I should cut the other man off but truthfully I am thinking of leaving my husband. We do not have children but we also don’t have that much in common. I know this is not acceptable from God’s perspective which is why I need prayer. I am already in too deep emotionally and don’t want to hurt anyone. I want to tell my husband about the affair but don’t want him to ask if I have feelings for the other man because I do. I also don’t want to cut the other man off because it would hurt so much. I can’t keep this going though because an emotional affair is still wrong. Please pray for God’s truth to prevail in my life. I know the right thing to do but am wanting to feel desired, wanted and loved. I need to seek that with God but have a hard time doing it lately. I don’t see my husband often and we don’t share the same passions in life. It seemed like we used to but don’t anymore. Is it possible to fall in love with my husband again? It is all possible with God but I am having a hard time doing his will instead of what I want to do. Please pray for me. I have been married to the only man I have ever loved for almost 30 years. We have two daughters (grown) and adopted a special-needs son.
My husband has been unfaithful many times and I knew it. I chose to forgive him (although I never confronted him) and did tell him that what he was doing was between him and God. The “what” I never said.
A long story to this that actually has turned into a nightmare but to get directly to it: on April 26, 2011 he threw me from our home. He promptly sent my son to my mothers in another city (and my mother isn’t where he should be). He has said my son comes home to visit on weekends but my neighbors tell me different.
My husband will NOT communicate with me in any manner People have told me that if a man does this, he has already moved on and I should give up hope for a reconciliation.. I know God can heal and certainly can heal our marriage.
My husband is an unbeliever and I am a Christian writer. I have prayed for my husband every day. Now I pray that God will touch his heart and soul, lead him to Him and turn him back to me
I ask for prayer (I need mighty prayer warriors interceding on my behalf. I do not believe this is an accident’ it is indeed spiritual warfare because satan can hurt us through others and satan certainly has taken EVERYTHING I have ever cherished and loved away from me.). Up until two weeks ago, I lived in my car. Really.

Hello. I’m asking for prayers to be lifted up for Paul. I ask that he be givin the forsight to come to decisions that will better his life. I ask that his fears be swept away upon angel’s wings and leave him with an open heart and mind. Pray that anything of evil intent upon his heart, body, mind and soul is cast aside and not allowed to influence him. Let him see past evil tempations. I ask for some relief for the current stress he is going thru…relief as in a happy ending or a mutal happy agreement. Last month my girlfriend and I broke up but have since reunited after learning that she is now pregnant with our child. I ask that God may restore our relationship and that the Holy Spirit may help her forgive me and keep me loyal and honest to her, so that we may some day get married. I pray that God may also help us finding a decent vehicle, a place to stay and employment for me in my girlfriend’s hometown for financial stability before the birth of our baby.
Ultimately, may God’s will be done in this situation!

We all make mistakes, and there are consequences to those mistakes, but no matter how big or small the failure, one thing remains: you are loved by Jesus. He came to this earth to die in YOUR place. There is nothing you have done (or could do) that would make him change his mind! Also, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you have done the previous, God is JUST and HAS forgiven you. I read the following scripture yesterday, and I hope you find it encouraging: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever”. – Psalm 73:26
I pray that you find your strength in God and God alone. Know that He will never give up on you, and ultimately that you are loved by him deeper than words can express, and nothing can change that.

I am calling out to all of God’s chosen prayer warriors! I special friend’s father has been in a head on collison. He was driving home from Alabama and the driver of a semi fell asleep and crashed in to him. His name is Garry. They had to use the Jaws of Life to remove him from the vehicle. They rushed him to Macon and he is currently on a ventilator. He has several broken bones, has encountered some heart problems because of this, and is having breathing trouble. I am just asking that God place a special touch on Garry’s body and heal him and his family. I just that he grow in his relationship with Jesus Christ because of this and I ask that he will come out of this a new person. If it be God’s will, I ask that he would be hwealed from these injuries and sent home fully recovered. I kow God will help him through this and that everything happens for a reason. I just pray that Garry is fully healed to the maximum extent. I am praying that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be with the family through these difficult times and pain and unaswered questions. I love my Lord and I give Him all the glory in every outcome of the situation. Just please keep Garry in your prayers.

last year i fell and hit my head, i hit it so hard that mt chin hit my chest and broke my rib, as well as cracked open my skull, i was sent to the hospital where the doctors said that i was going to die, my parents called people who called people who reached people across the nation who all prayed for me and God answered their prayers in an amazing way. when i hit my head i lost all hearing in my ear and recently had surgery that completely fixed the problem where it failed on other people, my living and hearing is a miracle and i want to praise God with the rest of my life!! thanks to all who prayed, without it and God’s grace, id be dead

Please pray for my brother Matthew. Last year, he went into the hospital with phnmonia. While in the hospital, he got staff infection in his lungs. the infection damaged his lungs so badly that he will have to be on oxygen for the rest of his life. He is 23. He was in his last semester of college. and now his insurance will not pay for his portable oxygen, only his home oxygen. So we are having a benefit yard sale on Sept. 24th and 25th. Hopefully, we will raise enough money to buy him a portable oxygen condenser. They are $4000.00 Please pray for us.
